Voice-to-Quote: Create Quotes by Speaking
Price up jobs by speaking naturally. A.X.E.L understands UK pricing and matches customers automatically.
What Is Voice-to-Quote?
Voice-to-Quote lets you create a professional quote just by speaking. Tell A.X.E.L who it's for, what the work is, and how much — it handles the rest. It auto-matches customers from your existing leads, understands UK pricing formats, and builds a proper itemised quote ready to send.
How to Use It
- Tap the green + button
- Select Quote
- Tap the 🎙️ Voice Note button
- Describe the quote naturally — who it's for, line items, and pricing
- A.X.E.L creates a structured quote with matched customer and itemised lines
- Review, adjust if needed, and send
Example
Say something like:
"Quote for Dave, 12 metres of close board fencing at 85 quid a metre, plus 120 for concrete posts, and 45 for gravel boards."
A.X.E.L will create a quote with:
- Customer: Dave (matched from your leads)
- Line 1: Close board fencing — 12m × £85 = £1,020
- Line 2: Concrete posts — £120
- Line 3: Gravel boards — £45
- Total: £1,185
UK Pricing It Understands
A.X.E.L's voice system is built for how British tradesmen actually talk about money:
- "85 quid a metre" → £85 per metre
- "a grand" → £1,000
- "two and a half grand" → £2,500
- "a hundred and fifty per day" → £150/day
- "500 all in" → £500 total
Customer Matching
When you say a customer's name, A.X.E.L searches your existing leads and contacts. If you say "Quote for Dave" and you've got a lead called Dave Thompson, it'll match automatically. If there are multiple Daves, it'll show you the options to pick from.
Tips for Best Results
- Start with the customer name — "Quote for [name]" helps the system match early
- Be specific with quantities — "12 metres" is better than "some fencing"
- Separate line items clearly — use "plus" or "and also" between items
- Include materials and labour separately if you want them as separate lines
- You can add notes — "include a note saying price valid for 30 days"
