Voice-to-Lead: Add Leads Without Typing
Speak naturally to add new leads. Perfect for when you're on site with dirty hands.
What Is Voice-to-Lead?
Voice-to-Lead lets you add a new customer enquiry just by speaking. No typing, no forms — just tap the microphone and talk naturally. It's designed for tradesmen who are on site, in the van, or just don't fancy typing out customer details on a small screen.
How to Use It
- Tap the green + button in the bottom-right corner
- Select Lead
- Tap the 🎙️ Voice Note button
- Speak naturally — include the customer's name, what they need, their location, and phone number
- A.X.E.L processes your voice and creates a pre-filled lead form
- Review the details, tweak anything that needs it, and tap Save
Example
Just say something like:
"New customer Lisa in Middleton, her fence blew down in the storm, needs six panels replacing. Her number is 07777 999 888."
A.X.E.L will extract:
- Name: Lisa
- Location: Middleton
- Service: Fence panel replacement (6 panels)
- Phone: 07777 999 888
Tips for Best Results
- Speak clearly — you don't need to speak slowly, just naturally. The system handles regional UK accents well
- Include the key details — name, what they need, and a phone number at minimum
- Say the phone number in chunks — "oh seven seven seven, nine nine nine, eight eight eight" works better than rushing through it
- Add context if you have it — "she's on Elm Street" or "found us on Checkatrade" helps you remember later
- You can mention urgency — "she needs it done this week" will be captured in the notes
Where to Find It
The voice input is available anywhere you create a lead. The quickest route is the green + button → Lead → 🎙️ Voice Note. You'll see the microphone icon on the lead creation screen.
When to Use It
Voice-to-Lead is perfect for:
- When you're on site and someone calls about a new job
- When you're driving and want to capture a lead before you forget (pull over first!)
- When your hands are dirty or you're wearing gloves
- Any time typing feels like a chore
