Material Loadouts
Create preset material kits for common jobs — speed up quoting with ready-made packages.
What Are Loadouts?
Loadouts are preset material kits for jobs you do regularly. Instead of adding materials one by one to every quote, create a loadout once and drop the whole kit into quotes with a single click.
Think of them as your go-to material packages — "Standard Bathroom Refit," "Basic Kitchen Installation," "Small Extension Loadout" — whatever jobs you repeat.
Creating a Loadout
- Go to Materials → Loadouts
- Tap + New Loadout
- Give it a clear name — "En-suite Bathroom Kit"
- Add a description if needed — "Materials for standard en-suite with shower"
- Pick a category to group similar loadouts
- Start adding materials from your catalogue:
- Search for a material and set the quantity needed
- Repeat for all materials in the kit
- Hit Save
Example Loadouts

- 6x Fence panels @ £35 each
- 6x Concrete posts @ £18 each
- 6x Gravel boards @ £12 each
- 1x Box of fixings @ £25
- 2x Bags of postcrete @ £8 each
- Total kit cost: £355
Kitchen Worktop Installation:
- 3x Worktop sections @ £120 each
- 1x Sink cut-out @ £45
- 2x End caps @ £15 each
- 1x Adhesive kit @ £25
- 1x Edge trim @ £35
- Total kit cost: £470
Using Loadouts in Quotes
When creating a quote, instead of adding materials individually, you can:
- Tap Add Loadout
- Pick from your saved loadouts
- All the materials get added to the quote instantly
- Adjust quantities if this job needs more or less
- Add any extra materials not in the loadout
Turns a 10-minute quote into a 2-minute quote. The materials, quantities, and prices are all there — you just need to add labour.
Loadout Categories
Group your loadouts by trade or job type:
- Plumbing — boiler installs, bathroom refits, pipe repairs
- Electrical — rewires, socket installs, light fittings
- Carpentry — stud walls, built-in wardrobes, shelving
- Tiling — bathroom tiles, kitchen splashbacks, floor tiling
- Landscaping — fencing, decking, patio installs
Categories help you find the right loadout quickly when you're quoting similar jobs.
Updating Loadouts
Material prices change. Suppliers discontinue products. When your loadouts need updating:
- Open the loadout you want to change
- Update quantities, swap out materials, or adjust the kit
- Save the changes
All future quotes using that loadout will use the updated version. Existing quotes stay as they were — no retrospective changes.
Tips for Better Loadouts
- Start with your most common jobs — the ones you do monthly
- Include a small wastage allowance — better to over-estimate slightly than run short
- Group by complexity — "Basic," "Standard," "Premium" versions of the same job type
- Review quarterly — check prices are still accurate and adjust for inflation
Loadouts save time and reduce errors. Set them up properly and quoting becomes a breeze.
