Lead Map

See your leads plotted on a map — plan routes, spot patterns, and prioritise local work.

What's the Lead Map?

The Lead Map shows all your leads plotted on an interactive map. Instead of scrolling through lists, you can see where potential customers are located, spot clusters of interest, and plan your route for site visits efficiently.

It's particularly useful for tradesmen who work across a wide area and want to group jobs geographically.

Accessing the Lead Map

Go to Leads from the main menu and tap Map View at the top. The map loads with all your leads plotted as pins.

Available on Lead Goblin plan and above.

Map Features

Lead Pins:

  • Each lead appears as a coloured pin on the map
  • Pin colours match lead status — green for new, blue for contacted, yellow for quoted, etc.
  • Tap any pin to see lead details in a popup
  • Tap the lead name in the popup to open the full lead profile

Clustering:

  • When zoomed out, nearby leads group into clusters
  • Cluster numbers show how many leads are in that area
  • Zoom in to see individual pins

Controls:

  • Zoom in/out with + and - buttons or mouse wheel
  • Pan around by clicking and dragging
  • Your current location appears as a blue dot (if location services enabled)

Filtering the Map

Use the filter options to show specific leads:

  • Status filter: Show only new leads, quoted leads, etc.
  • Date range: Leads from this month, last week, or custom dates
  • Service type: Only plumbing leads, electrical work, etc.

Filters help you focus on what's relevant — like showing only new leads from this week that need following up.

Planning Routes

Use the map to plan efficient site visits:

  1. Zoom into your local area
  2. Spot clusters of leads that need visits
  3. Plan a route that hits multiple leads in one trip
  4. Book appointments for the same day/area

Saves fuel costs and travel time by grouping geographically close work together.

Spotting Patterns

The map can reveal useful patterns:

  • Hot areas: Neighbourhoods with lots of leads — consider targeted marketing
  • Service gaps: Areas you're not reaching — opportunity for expansion
  • Travel patterns: How far you typically travel for work — helps with pricing
  • Conversion clusters: Areas where leads convert well vs poorly

Lead Information Popup

Tap any pin to see a quick summary:

  • Customer name and contact details
  • Service required
  • Lead status and source
  • Distance from your location
  • Quick actions — call, message, or open full lead

Perfect for a quick refresh when you're in the area and want to check nearby opportunities.

Mobile-Friendly

The map works perfectly on your phone. Use it while you're out and about to:

  • Check if there are other leads nearby while on a job
  • Find the best route to your next appointment
  • See what's in the area before booking site visits

Privacy and Data

Lead addresses are only shown to you and your team members. Customers' exact locations aren't shared with anyone else — the map data is private to your A.X.E.L account.
